It all started in a small kitchen in Sherman Oaks, California, where founder Marco Deluca fell in love with the art of Neapolitan pizza-making after spending three years training alongside master pizzaiolos in Naples, Italy. He returned to United States with one goal: to share the soul of authentic pizzana with his community.
What began as a weekend pop-up at the local farmers market grew into a beloved neighborhood restaurant known for slow-fermented dough, San Marzano tomatoes, and hand-pulled fior di latte. Today, Pizzana serves thousands of guests each month — and every single pizza is still made by hand, with the same love that started it all.

Pizzana launches as a weekend pop-up at the Sherman Oaks Farmers Market. Lines form every Saturday morning. The community falls in love.
We open our first brick-and-mortar location on Ventura Blvd. Within months, local food critics call it "the best Neapolitan pizza in the San Fernando Valley."
